Phil's Notes:
Well blogger Phil and Jo Ann got on their magic carpet on Wednesday
of this week and headed south to Kenova WV, to visit their son Pastor Tim
and his new bride Jami and their dog Tilly Sue. They flew via US Airways
and had a great but uneventful trip ( which is good) and their son Tim
met us us at the airport for lunch. We rented a car at airport and got
a VW Jetta, which is a first for us, but it a very nice car. We just have
to get used to all gadgets and gear / on a different car ( the slow
learning curve issue / you know). We went to old favorite restaurant
in downtown Kenova ( which is decorated in old time soda shop fashion
and also has pharmacy there) for supper and met Jennifer ( Jami's mother)
there at supper), In the evening we attended the midweek Bible Study
at Tim;s church and Pastor Lindsay conducted the Bible Study. The church
folk always welcome us with open arms and make us feel right at home.
After church we got to socialize with Jami ( our daughter in law) and
her mother Jennifer / at Tim and Jami's home. We also got to know their
dog Tilly Sue and she demonstrated some of her tricks for us.
Today Phil went to the Y to do his routine and Jo Ann and Tim went to daily
Lenten services at 12:00 and had lunch there afterwards. Phil ate lunch
at Subways and then went to library / to write this note and where he is now.
